Get ready for an exciting day of pickleball action at the Paddles for a Purpose Pickleball Tournament, supporting Hogs for the Cause. Join us at the newly built Ochsner Fitness Center pickleball courts in Elmwood, LA, for an event filled with fun, competition, and community spirit. This tournament welcomes players of all skill levels and aims to raise funds for pediatric brain cancer outreach.

- Divisions: Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed
Paddles for a Purpose Pickleball Tournament Format
The tournament features a Set Partner Pool Play + Single Elimination Bracket. The round robin stage will determine seeding, with matches played to 11 points. The single elimination bracket rounds will be played to 15 points. Matches will be played with Franklin X-40 pickleballs.
Registration
Registration is open now and closes on March 3, 2025. All players must have a DUPR account to sign up. Instructions on creating an account are available on the registration page. Players may sign up for multiple divisions, with the second division discounted to $30. Use discount code “HOGS” at checkout.

Yes, all players must have a DUPR account to register. A step by step guide is available on the registration page. If you do not have a DUPR rating, signup for a DUPR rating event at Elmwood Pickleball.
Can I sign up for multiple divisions?
Yes! Players can sign up for multiple divisions. The second division is discounted to $30 using the code “HOGS” at checkout.
What happens if I sign up for the wrong division?
No problem! We will help sort players into the appropriate divisions before the tournament starts.
Is there food and drinks available?
Yes! A plate lunch is included for players, and additional meals will be available for purchase by players and other attendees.
What is the cancellation policy?
There are no refunds unless we run out of pickleballs and BBQ.
