Great Day Louisiana Team’s Exciting Introduction to Pickleball

It was an absolute pleasure and honor to introduce the Great Day Louisiana team to the exhilarating sport of Pickleball. Despite being newcomers to the pickleball court, each participant quickly grasped the game, adding to the lively banter amongst the team. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and it was clear from the start that they were eager to dive into the world of pickleball.

Great Day Louisiana is a show known for its informative and entertaining content, covering a wide range of subjects. The news that they would be doing a segment on pickleball was received with much excitement. It’s not every day that a sport like pickleball gets to be in the limelight, and the opportunity to showcase it on such a platform was thrilling.

Meeting the Great Day Louisiana Team

The thrill of receiving an inquiry about pickleball lessons from Malik, was only surpassed by the experience of meeting him and the rest of the team. The energy they brought to the court was palpable, making the entire experience memorable. Their curiosity about the sport and their eagerness to learn was evident in every question they asked and every move they made on the court.

Great Day Louisiana Explores Pickleball

Caegan, Val, and Malik seemed thrilled to be learning the game of pickleball. Their enthusiasm and quick understanding of the game made the experience enjoyable for everyone involved. The team’s segment on pickleball will air on Friday, August 4th at 9am on WWL-TV. The episode will feature the Inaugural NOLA Pickleball Fest – The Drew Brees Pickleball Tournament. This event is a significant one in the pickleball community, and having it featured on Great Day Louisiana is a big deal.

Gratitude for the Opportunity

Being chosen to assist the Great Day Louisiana team in exploring the wonderful world of pickleball was a great honor. Despite the time constraints of television shooting, the team picked up the game very quickly. We covered serving and dinking, and even had a few nice rallies. By the end, the team was already planning their next game of pickleball. It was a joy to see their progress and their growing excitement for the sport.
