Shamrock Showdown Event Details

Date: March 8th & 9th 2025

Location: The Groves – Eight outdoor pickleball courts at Pelican Park, 63350 Pelican Drive, Mandeville, LA 70448

Entry Fee: $30 per player per day

Divisions: Novice (2.0-2.5), Beginner (3.0), Intermediate (3.5), Experienced (4.0), and Advanced (4.5+)

Shamrock Showdown Tournament Format

The Shamrock Showdown will follow a round robin format. Each player or team will compete in a minimum of four matches. Matches will be arranged by skill level to encourage balanced play. Saturday features Men’s and Women’s Doubles. Sunday highlights Mixed Doubles. Players will aim for top standings within their divisions to advance in this competitive environment. Check-in starts at 7:30 am, and play runs from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm each day. If inclement weather arises, the event will move indoors. The Tournament Director reserves the right to make any necessary format changes.

Shamrock Showdown Registration

Online registration runs from January 17, 2025, through February 28, 2025, at 12:00 pm. To register for the Men’s Doubles division on Saturday, visit this link. For Women’s Doubles on Saturday, click here. If you want to join Mixed Doubles on Sunday, enroll at this link. You must be at least 13 years old as of March 8, 2025, to participate. Skill level divisions are limited, so register early to secure your spot. Note that this is not a DUPR Tournament.

Participants will enjoy a Friday Social on March 7 for warm up games and early networking. Additionally, a lively after party on Saturday, March 8, will feature live music to keep everyone entertained. Expect food trucks on both Saturday and Sunday, along with pickleball vendors offering gear and accessories. Registered players receive goody bags and qualify for exciting prize drawings. Wear your green gear and join the festive atmosphere all weekend long.
