Tournament Format and Registration
The Paddles on St Paddy’s Day tournament will feature a round-robin format, ensuring that all participants get plenty of playtime. Players will be grouped by skill level, from Novice to Advanced, making the event welcoming for pickleball players of all abilities. Registration opens on January 1, 2024, and closes on March 1, 2024, or when full. Early registration is encouraged to secure your spot. Expect a display of incredible agility, strategic serves, and volleys, making each match a must-watch.
Location and Schedule
The tournament will be held at The Groves, featuring 8 outdoor pickleball courts at 63350 Pelican Drive, Mandeville, LA. Should the weather not cooperate, the event will be moved indoors, ensuring the fun continues rain or shine. Check-in starts at 7:30 AM, with matches running from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day.
Additional Information
Participants can look forward to more than just pickleball; local food truck vendors will be on-site, offering delicious lunch options. Moreover, exclusive event T-shirts are available for purchase through March 1, ensuring you can keep a memento of your participation in this unique event. The entry fee is set at $35 per player, per day, making it an accessible event for everyone.
