Pickleball League at Elmwood Pickleball

📣 8-Week MLP Style Elmwood Pickleball League! 🎾

We’re excited to announce an exclusive 8-week MLP-style league at Elmwood Pickleball. This Elmwood Pickleball league is limited to only 8 women and 8 men. If you want to participate, register now!

📅 League Details:

• League Play Begins: October 8, 2024
• Time: 7 PM – 9 PM (Every Tuesday)
• Duration: 8 Weeks (6 weeks of regular play + 2 playoff weeks)
• Entry Fee: $120 per participant
• Venue: Elmwood Pickleball (Outdoor Venue)

🎲 Blind Draft:

The league will feature a blind draft format. The 4 highest DUPR rated registrants will be designated as team captains. These captains will meet before the league starts to draft their teams, with the highest-rated captain picking last.

• Each team will have 4 players: 2 men and 2 women.
• Only 8 men and 8 women can register. Any additional registrants will be added to the waitlist and can be used as alternates or substitutes, free of charge. Only players that are registered and on the waitlist can be used as alternates.

🏆 Teams & Matches:

• Teams: 4 teams per division, each consisting of 2 women and 2 men.
• Matches per session:
  • 1 Men’s Doubles Match
  • 1 Women’s Doubles Match
  • 2 Mixed Doubles Matches

If any session ends in a tie (both teams win two matches each), a special tiebreaker called the Dreambreaker will be played. The Dreambreaker is a singles-based tiebreaker where all players from each team compete, rotating every 4 points.
