Introduction to the Dragon Slam Pickleball Tournament
Welcome to the inaugural Dragon Slam Pickleball Tournament, a spectacular event to celebrate the Lunar New Year! Scheduled from February 2nd through February 4th, 2024, this tournament is set to take place at the newly opened Stacks Pickleball in Baton Rouge. Offering a unique blend of mixed doubles and gender doubles, the tournament promises to be a thrilling experience for players and spectators alike.
Registration and Event Details
Mark your calendars! The deadline for player and sponsor registration is Friday, January 19th. With over 200 players anticipated, we encourage early registration to secure your spot. In case your preferred division is full, join our waitlist by emailing bee@stackspb.com. The first 75 registrants will be treated to a special ‘lucky’ red envelope containing Stacks credit!
Venue Highlights and Tournament Schedule
The Dragon Slam Pickleball Tournament will be hosted at Stacks Pickleball, located at 10000 Celtic Drive, featuring 12 state-of-the-art courts. The tournament schedule is as follows:
– Friday, February 2nd: Matches based on player availability (if at max. capacity)
– Saturday, February 3rd: Men’s and Women’s Doubles from 8 AM to 4 PM
– Sunday, February 4th: Mixed Doubles from 8 AM to 6 PM
Exciting Tournament Format and Prizes
Players are guaranteed three matches in a round robin format, leading to single elimination medal rounds. Winners can look forward to exclusive prizes, including a month’s Unlimited Membership at Stacks Pickleball. Don’t miss the chance to be part of this exhilarating event!
