1st Annual Camellia Classic Pickleball Tournament

The SPA – Slidell Pickleball Association is proud to host the 1st Annual Camellia Classic Pickleball Tournament from March 14-16, 2025! This exciting event will take place at the John Slidell Park Outdoor Pickleball Courts, offering players a fantastic venue to showcase their skills. Whether you are a seasoned competitor or new to the sport, this tournament is designed to bring the Slidell pickleball community together for an unforgettable experience.

Event Details

• Date: March 14 – 16, 2025
• Location: John Slidell Park, 105 Robert Boulevard, Slidell, LA 70458
• Registration Opens: January 31, 2025
• Entry Fees:
  • SPA Members: $40 for two events, $10 for a third event
  • Non-Members: $50 for two events, $10 for a third event

Tournament Format

This tournament will follow a Set Partner Round Robin format, ensuring that each team gets ample playtime before advancing to the playoffs. If multiple pools exist in a division, the top players will move into a playoff round to determine the final winners.

*In case of rain, all matches will be relocated to the Fritchie Park Gym in Slidell.

Divisions

• Gender Doubles: 3.0 to 4.0+
• Mixed Doubles: 3.0 to 4.0+
• Gender Doubles 50+: 3.0 to 4.0+
• Mixed Doubles 50+: 3.0 to 4.0+
• Gender Singles: 18+
• Gender Mini Singles: 50+

Rules & Gameplay

The tournament will follow the official 2025 USA Pickleball Rules.

Match play details are as follows:

• Doubles: First to 11 points, win by 2.
• Singles: First to 21 points, win by 2.
• Switch sides: At 6 points for doubles and 11 points for singles.
• Timeouts: Each doubles team and singles player gets two, 2-minute timeouts per game.

• Rain Plan: Matches will move to the indoor Fritchie Park Gym if necessary.

No refunds will be issued after March 13, 2025.
